A SIMPLE STRUCTURE

Your 90-second media pitch, in three acts.

010–20 SEC

Make them care.

Open with the story hook, name your audience, and show why they should care.

0220–70 SEC

Show the value.

Describe the format, its fresh angle, and proof that you can bring it to life.

0370–90 SEC

Make the ask.

Ask for a commission, budget, collaborator, or one clear next step.

WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE ROOM

One idea.
One chance to make it real.

Choose a floor, then pitch your film, documentary, podcast, campaign, or creative media concept.

The doors start open. Begin speaking when they close and the countdown starts; finish before you arrive.

Follow the prompts, or switch them off for an uninterrupted pitch; pause whenever you need to.

Executive review is off by default. To try it, switch it on, enter the teacher’s test code, and allow microphone access. Your recording is sent to Cloudflare for transcription and AI feedback only after an opted-in ride. The free pilot allows 20 attempts per day across all testers. Sample feedback is labeled as an example.

The elevator uses a practice pace of three seconds per floor; shorter rides scale the three pitch stages to fit.

FROM THE EXECUTIVE FLOOR

The idea has potential.
The pitch needs work.

You described a documentary. You haven’t yet given me a reason to commission it.

REVISE & PRACTICE Commissioning perspective
01 / WHY SHOULD I CARE?

Lead with the story.

“A documentary about nightlife” gives me a topic. Show me the character, the tension, and what’s at stake.

02 / WHO IS IT FOR?

Name the audience.

“Everyone” isn’t a commissioning strategy. Tell me who will watch and why your angle matters to them.

03 / CAN YOU MAKE IT?

Bring one piece of proof.

Access to a character, a sample scene, or a credible production plan makes the idea easier to back.

04 / WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Make a concrete ask.

Ask for a funded pilot or a development meeting. Give me a next step I can actually say yes to.

We need to practice. Take your time, revise, and practice.

OPTIONAL · FREE TEST PILOT

Meet your toughest listener.

Get a commissioning executive’s perspective on your media pitch: what lands, what’s missing, and what to change.

Microphone recording begins with the countdown and ends at arrival. Music becomes quieter. Feedback is practice advice, not a university grade. The shared pilot allows 20 attempts per day; failed AI attempts also count.

Test with a written pitch or an existing recording

These tests do not turn on your microphone. The code and consent above are still required.
